Ammungan festival trace its roots from Gaddang word, “ammungan” and Ilocano term “ummungan”, which means gathering.in the spirit of thanksgiving, the grand ammungan festival highlight the gathering of the upland indigenous peoples group and lowland dwellers to what is known as the Tribu Biscayano. Nueva Vizcaya commemorates its founding anniversary every May 24 with a week-long series of activities such as cultural Presenrations, street dancing, float parade, sports and adventure activities and many more.
